Department of Mechatronics Engineering
Mechatronics is an exciting new interdisciplinary field, which is a synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, control theory, computer and electrical engineering. In this discipline, researchers and students learn how to combine all the above mentioned engineering potentials to build advanced engineered systems and solve complex problems. Mechatronics group carries out extensive research in different topics such as:
- Intelligent systems,
- Nonlinear control of engineering systems, and especially two main research categories
- Micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and
- Hybrid robotic systems.
